I am a high school chemistry teacher interested in how teachers are planning and implementing NGSS in their high school physical science curriculum. My current curiousity is, can we teach more deeply and be more time efficient by using NGSS instruction? I am currently working with Michigan State University's Joe Kraycik and Barbara Schneider on a PIRE NSF-funded project entitled, " Crafting Optimal Learning Moments in Science Environments".
