I currently teach high school physics and chemistry at East Kentwood High School. I previously taught in New York City and Seattle, Wa. I completed my PhD in Curriculum, Instruction, and Teacher Education at Michigan State University where I worked on a curriculum project with Joe Krajcik writing curriculum based on the new Michigan Science Standards/NGSS, using phenomena, and helping students to develop models and scientific explanations.
